Creatures with Environmental Weaknesses

Environmental weaknesses are limits set by landscape, weather, time, and ritual space. Some beings fade at sunrise, others at high noon; many cannot cross running water, tidal cuts, or mountain passes when winds are against them. Consecrated precincts, festival fires, and bell-marked boundaries can thin a presence or bar pursuit without a weapon drawn. Fog, ash, and incense unravel disguises, while clear rain or river spray scatters glamours that feed on dust or heat. Shelters also matter: thresholds, hearths, and way-stones create small sanctuaries where bargains must be honoured. Cards note omens like straight-rising smoke, ripples against flow, and sudden stillness, which warn that a creature’s strength is entering its low tide.
