Vulnerability Types
Every legendary creature carries a fault line: a rule, place, hour, or substance that turns power aside. This section gathers weaknesses into environmental, physical, and other constraints so patterns are easy to compare. Environmental limits involve sunlight and shadow, running water, consecrated ground, storm, season, or altitude where strength fades or binds. Physical counters use materials and methods—iron, silver, salt, flame, knot, mirror, or measured circle—that confine, dull, or disperse a presence. Other weaknesses concern invitation law, true names, oaths, counting compulsions, riddles, and courtesies at thresholds. Use the tiles to scan by limit type or setting, then open cards for signs, tokens, and the narrative cues that signal a way through.
