Water Control Creatures

Water controllers open springs, quiet estuaries, plait currents, and send rivers backwards for a span. They flood fields to cleanse, lift boats over shoals, string dew along hedges, and wrap mists around processions for secrecy. Roles include harbour guardian, healer at wells, oath enforcer at fords, and ferryman who names the price of passage. Signs appear as mirrored pools on wind days, fish paths revealed in air, ropes that slacken against current, and tide lines that halt at a gesture. Tokens include pitchers, oars, shell wreaths, reeds bound with twine, and boat models left at altars. Browse by basin or function, then open cards for sources and variant names.
