Creatures with Gaze Powers

Gaze powers act through sight itself, turning presence into command. Creatures fix travellers, compel truth, frost courage, turn limbs to stone, or grant sleep that breaks only at a set word. Roles include sentinel, judge, decoy, healer of frenzy, and avenger who forbids entry with a look. Signs include mirrors placed on posts, veils left on paths, polished stones with dark centres, and painted eyes that stare from lintels. Safe conduct uses reflection, counted steps, or lowered lids agreed in advance by oath. Use tiles to browse by effect or setting and open cards for sources, variant names, and iconography.
